I called 3 different plumbers before I called J&L Plumbing about a leaking gas water heater. They all wanted an obscene amount of money to replace a hot water heater and tried to sell me a tankless for more than I paid for my first car. They also couldn’t be bothered with answering a phone or getting something scheduled in a timely manner. I called Jeff at J&L and he answered on the first ring. He showed up about an hour and a half later and agreed to the job for thousands less than the other folks. He completed the job the next day. He was extremely professional and friendly and communicated every detail I needed to make the decision. Jeff could teach a master class on customer service! I highly recommend these folks for any plumbing needs.
We noticed a water leak in our garage that we traced to our hot water heater. We wanted to get this fixed asap as we were leaving town for the July 4th weekend the next morning. We called Jeff at J&L Plumbing around 1:00 in the afternoon hoping he could do same-day service. His crew arrived by 2:00 and had a new water heater installed by 5:00. Great, fast service at a fraction of the price of the guys on TV.

Called Jeff to hook up our new gas stove and he was able to do it that day. He was thorough and very professional. He tested the system to make sure there were no leaks and made sure the stove was working properly. Will definitely be using Jeff for all our future plumbing needs.
A gas leak was detected at the heat control valve on my hot water heater and at the furnace regulator during the inspection. I called J&L Plumbing and Jeff was great; he made this a priority and provided me with options toward the repairs. I made the decision to replace the hot water heater and the regulator; he did a great job. I have used his services prior and was also pleased with the work that was done. He is also very friendly, honest and knowledgeable and I would call him again if ever needed.

Jeff patiently explained each of the needed repairs and did an excellent job in restoring my water heater to a fully functioning status. He could have told me that I needed a new water heater for $2000 but instead he was honest and replaced several parts for $700 for which I am very thankful! Jeff is my plumber from now on!

He was willing to work us into his schedule for a sewer line inspection with VERY short notice and provided us images and notes of his assessment. Being in real estate for many years, I know how hard it can be to find really good people in the trades, so I’m very happy I found J&L Plumbing. I first spoke with Jeff, the owner, who took the time to explain how they charge, answer my questions, and tell me a little about his business. I had already read so many great reviews, and after talking with him, I felt very comfortable scheduling an appointment. What I also appreciated was learning that J&L is a small, locally owned company, with Jeff and just two other plumbers rather than a large operation. There’s something reassuring about knowing who you’re dealing with and who will actually be coming into your home. Todd came out to our house and was great to work with. He let us know when he was on his way, arrived when he said he would, was friendly and personable, and clearly knew his stuff. He found the problem and took care of what needed to be done. And FYI, I’ll be passing along the word to everyone else in the house: go easy on the toilet paper, and “flushable” wipes go in the garbage, NOT the toilet! One of the biggest compliments I can give a company is that I would refer them to others, especially my real estate clients. I’m very selective about doing that because I want to know the people I recommend will take good care of them. I feel completely confident referring J&L Plumbing, and they’ll be my first call the next time we need a plumber.
